A Daughter’s Love

Twinkle twinkle star above-

Reminder of my Father’s love.

‘In before street lights, work hard at school’;

‘Go to church’ was her Golden Rule.

No matter my failings, deliberate or no;

All my days my mom’s love showed.

Now her hair I brush, curl and spray;

I sing and pray over her last days.

So thankful she taught me that Jesus reigns;

I trust in Him-come what may.
