Discipleship
As Christians, disciples-followers of Christ, we all form one body, the church. The Great Commission gives us the responsibility to make disciples; to share our stories and His ways with others using the unique gifts we have graciously been given. Therefore, we do not all perform the same function or serve in the same way to fulfill our purpose.
Relational evangelism
Our outreach consists of discussions with the people we meet and acts of service as we live out our life’s adventures. We also offer hospitality, through customized sailing adventures, which provides time and opportunities to connect with our guests and share the gospel as lead by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
Spiritual growth
We lead a weekly small group bible study full of fellowship, teaching, modeling, encouraging, coaching and correcting to equip each other for works of service and attain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 5:18 says be filled with the Holy Spirit. To us, this means constantly and continuously allowing His well of water to flow in.
Christian Life Coaching
Angie offers one-on-one Christian life coaching; online or in person. She asks challenging, thought-provoking questions designed to help you think about your life and goals. She then encourages you to make your own decisions and formulate life-changing action plans.
Marriage Mentoring
We are trained as marriage mentors through our church. Does that mean we have a perfect marriage? Nope! But it does mean that we believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman committed to God and each other until death do they part. As marriage mentors, we enter into mentoring agreements with younger couples for the purpose of walking this path beside them or to help them through life’s challenges as well as to discover God’s great plan for their marriage.
Pastoral Respite
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. (Mark 6:31b-32) We offer hospitality through a sabbatical called Imagine. We invite pastors and their families on a customized sailing adventure; a week full of fun, fellowship and discovery designed to renew their spirit (Psalm 51:10).
